Need help testing ECU and MOP

I've got an 89 convertible which I swapped at Jspec 13B-T into, I picked up an ECU #370 and the shop that did the swap was able to switch the pins on my N/A harness. Since the swap I get occasional check engine light and codes of 37(metering oil pump), 3(crank position g sensor), and 17(feedback system for O2 snesor). But it never goes into "limp mode". I took a known to be good MOP from an old engine and put it on and still get the same codes. I found that the spliced O2 sensor wire had come undone and put it back together...better... stronger.... faster...(cue Steve Austin). I'm going to put a new O2 sensor on just be sure.

I've been trying to follow the FSM on MOPs. According to the FSM a code of 37 should have me checking for a malfunction of ignition system. I assume with the code of 3 coming up I should be checking the crank angle sensor. I checked resistance on the terminal. I set the multimeter for 200k and on both G1-G2 and Ne1-Ne2 I got a reading of .2 If I did the test correctly then the crank angle sensor is good.....right??

My next step is to test resistance on the MOP terminal right?? And then continuity between the MOP terminal and pins on the ECU...right?? Before I get to testing the ECU, the FSM says to test certain pins, but I'm a bit confused. Is that looking at the unplugged harness from the pin side, or as if it were plugged in and cause of that the wire side of the harness?

When testing the Ecu at least every time ive done it they show the connector plugged in. the correct way to test is to "Back Probe" the connector so you can test inputs as well as outputs. happy hunting
