need help with suspension IMMEDIATELY

rear spring/struts...

i compress the spring. i attempt to remove the nut at the top. all it does is spin the strut. so i put a 4 foot steel pole in the bottom of the strut. it doesnt spin anymore.

i attempt to turn the nut. now the inner rod of the strut spins. so i vice grip that inner rod as tight as i possibly can, still spins. so i torch the nut up top, get it nice and toasty, attempt to turn it.

inner rod still spins... damn...

I'm just gonna hacksaw that nut off. I'll ruin the strut but at this point I don't care

unless there's any other ideas in the 15 minutes that surface on the forum. that's what I'm doing. tick tock tick tock

help, i'd rather not cut it off, I'd like to be able to sell my struts too...

if I had an impact wrench and a compressor/ tank, this whole job of removing the struts/springs would've been done yesterday... if I had money to buy an impact wrench and compressor I'd do it without thinking twice.

just ues a big hammer and hit it! break it off!
please elaborrate. hit the nut? hit the strut? hit what?

just take the struts to a local shop and have them remove the nuts for you. it takes 2 secs with an airgun. just compress them yourself and head down.
