Angry need help regarding intake manifold coolant o-rings?

Apparently I need to replace the o-rings that seal the coolant flowing through the intake manifold..

I am told this is an $850 US job to do involving the complete removal of the Intake and exhaust manifold and the turbo/compressor.

Is there another way? If not would I (sort of mechanically able) be able to fix it myself?

dont pay for it...thats a rip.

order new o-rings and a new LIM gasket from www.mazdatrix.com

may as well order a UIM gasket as well.

while you're in there may as well replace the silicone hoses with hosetechniques.com hoses.

there's no EASY way about it...you just gotta get in there and start pulling stuff off.

i'd start with the turbo, as thats the hardest thing to get off if you've never done it before.

oh yeah, if you dont have a decent set of tools, buy one.

Talking shitty

Well sounds like I am going to have some fun! NOT

Oh well I already have the hosetechniques kit so thats a plus. Looks like I am going to just have to make a project out of it. Taking that turbo off is going to be the hardest thing I have ever done from the sounds and looks of it.

Guess you gotta come in under the car and unbolt everything........

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Are those the only gaskets I need? UIM, LIM, and the O-rings right?

I wouldn't call that job easy. It pretty much requires removing everything except the "block". That might be exagerating some but the point is that it's quite extensive. However, I did this job last summer on my '87 TII. You CAN do it but it will take some time if you have never done it before. Don't be scared of removing all that stuff....just pay attention to where everything goes. If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to offer any assistance I can.
