Question Need help please (Wiring, more organized)

87 GXL: Audio System w/ Compact Disc, Pwer Antenna

I apologize for inconvieniance, usually I am fine installing the stereo. My girl found her mother after 15 years, so I now have to drive to Vermont and don't have the money to pay someone to install this thing.... I need this so I don't go insane meeting these people lol

It is page 86 in the FSM (I am assume L on the color of wire is Light blue, if I am wrong please tell me lol)

Here is what I have (wires go RX-7 to stereo harness):
~> 6 Pin Connector (being removed, amp as well running new wires from door)
~> Male / Femal Antenna-like connector (what do I do with these I could not figure it out from the FSM)
~> L/W (Accessory) connected to Red (Ignition)
~> L & L/O (Rear Right speaker) connected to Purple & w/ stripe (Rear Right)
~> Br & Br/W (Rear Left) connected to Green & w/ stripe (Rear Left)
~> L/R (Battery) connected to Yellow (Battery)
~> L/Y (Antenna) connected to Blue (Antenna) *
*I don't expect the antenna to work, I know I have to relay the wire differently. Could that be causing the stereo to be in protection and not turn on? *
~> The R/B is taped off and bent back taped to the harness so it can't ground or get in the way

Could someone give me a pic of thier harness setup?
Is anything there incorrect? I have gone over the FSM 100 times now lol I am
RX-7 vs me ... ... RX-7 winning

If anything seems odd please tell I am getting desperate lol I don't want to goto vermont using my psp for music

I didn't really read your thread much.. but this is from the FAQ.

What are the wire colors for adding aftermarket radio
LTBlue/Red= 12v+
LtBlue/White= +Accessory
LtBlue/Yellow= -power ant trigger
Red/Black=+ Lumination
White=Factory Amp Turn on

Ground to the body, use the 10mm bolt behind the center console front drivers access panel. Do not use the Red/Black as ground it will damage the interior light circuit and dimmer in the car

Front Speakers (maximum of a 15 watt peak from the radio):
LtGreen/Red= Left
LtGreen/Black= Left

LtGreen= Right
LtGreen/Yellow=Right

Rear Speakers (if applicable, if you have the amplified rear speakers again the Maximum of 15 watts peak is all the stock speaker amp input can handle):
Brown= Left rear
Brown/White= Left Rear

LtBlue= Right Rear
LtBlue/Orange=Right Rear

already read the FAQ, pretty sure I connected via what the faq said, didn't work. So I went to the FSM (after forgetting about the FSM and being told to check it) Now I have gone through that and tried and still cna not see why the stereo won't turn on
