Unhappy need help pease

ok, where should i start. i had to buy front rotors and pads so i could pass inspection. well, i went to replace the driver side rotor and everything was going fine until it was time to get the old fu$&*^%(^ rotor off. this took me 2 hours to do with a sledge hammer and PB blaster. so then i thought here we go , im almost finished until i discovered the the reject who owned the car before me must of broke the pins that go through the caliper that hold the brake pads in place. well, i tried for 2 more hours to get these pins that he rigged in there out and i couldn't budge them. look at the other side and only one of the original pins are in that side. so my next step is to cut them out. now here is my major question, Where can i get the original pins at???????? look at mazdatrix website and they dont list them nowhere. can someone please help me?

thanks in advance

I may be wrong but I don't think the 4 piston calipers were originally fitted to the N/A models that far back. As far as the pins are concerned, have you tried the obvious - ypur local Mazda dealer. I know this is normally the last place to go for replacement parts but sometimes its the only place to get the more obscure 'service parts. If as I suspect the calipers are a recent addition you may have to ask for the pins for the calipers on a turbo rex.

Both the GS (Sport) and the GXL had 4 piston brakes in 86.
