Need Help...... Overheating

my 86 GXL just started over heating. i flushed the radiator and i also baught a flush kit (the one that splices into the heater line at the back of the motor) and ran that. i tool off the radiator flushed it again. i switched out the water pump and the clutch fan. there is no heat coming out of the heater vents (inside the car) and i also changed the thermostat. when i had the radiator out i stcuk a shop vac up to the bottom line taht feeds into the radiator and a large rubber seal (about twice the size of a quarter) came out of the line, it was a little chewed up, as if it had tried to get through the water pump. when the car is running i can open the radiator cap and nothing pours out but when the thermostat opens up it starts to pour out (not spray)
in a semi steady flow.

if you have any suggestions let me know.

THNX.
