need help, no pwer after 4000rpm

ok so i'm driving my car today and i'm getting on the highway i'm in third and take it to about5500rpm and then a quick shift into fourth and then fith. well i went to pass someone, drop it into 4th and when i went to accelerate i had no power after 4000rpm. i mean it took about 20 seconds to get from 4000 to 5000rpm with the gas to the floor. wtf happened? now it does that in every gear, i hit 4000 rpm and power just shuts off? what could be causing this, i feel no power loss below this.

If you can gingerly step on the pedal and reach over six grand verses stepping on the pedal with zeal and stumbling at around 3500, then like the man said......check out the secondarys. God only knows why they would stop working though. See if both secondary plugs are on. They are easy to reach on a n/t car.

it's not the famous 3800/4000rpm hesitation, i have to power from 4000 all the way up to redline, i will have to check my secondaries real quick, i did clean my engine bay on sat so that might have caused something but i'm not sure why it would have happened right away. Any other thoughts besides secondaries?

Ok so last night i check the connections on my secondary injectors and everything seemed ok, i'm not sure what else i can check as far as injectors go. I'm gonna assume i just need new ones, they are the originals so might as well. Can anyone give me some insite as to how hard it is to replace the secondaries? i know they'er easy to get to but i'm not sure what i would ahve to do as far as the fuel rail goes or anything. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Will it actually rev all the way to redline? If not, there is a restriction somewhere. My S4 did the exact same thing when the cat broke up and went bad. Check your exhaust for restrictions. Also, is your engine temp rising too? If it is, I practically guarantee that your exhaust or cat is the problem.

When is the last time that you have replaced the fuel filter? Also check the strainer in the tank.

the fuel filter was replaced back in november and yes it will go up to redline. I know it's not my cats because i don't have any. I will check the strainer tonight. Would getting my injectors cleaned do the trick maybe or you think they are pretty much totally shot?
