need help igniton switch
need help igniton switch
i drove the car to the car wash had no trouble parked at home couple hours later the car didnt start lights work the battery has power when i turn the key on the fuel pump dont turn on or the cd player and then i go to crank it nothing no starter power just dead

You may have gotten something wet in the engine bay,and that would require checking connections.
Start at the Battery.
there is s black wire that runs off the positive to the engine bay fuse block too that could have been hit.if that wire is disrupted you get no power to the fuse block and very little works.
OH..and it's not your ignition switch,unless you power washed the inside of the car!

the battery has been relocated to the back there is a red wire that comes off the terminal ill check it out tomorrow where that goes too and check out other connections thank you

Check all fuses?
Sounds like you might either have a fuse, main relay, or ignition switch issue. There are several circuits fed off of the ignition switch and it's possible for one or more to fail while others still work. The electrical half of the switch is on the left side and does come off of the mechanical cylinder in case you do determine that it's bad. You need an FSM wiring diagram and a voltmeter to start diagnosing this issue, though. Start at the first power distribution page on the wiring diagrams and follow the circuit paths to see which parts on your car are not working, then try to see if they share a common fuse or path, and start there with your voltmeter.
