Need help identifying wires!

OK so my problem is that im not sure if i have the correct wires. my situation right now is that i want to install a hks evc 6 on my 1989 turbo ii. i need two wires. RPM input signal wire, and Throttle Input signal wire. i have a wiring diagram for a 1991 turbo ii, and A) im not sure if its the same as a 1989, and B) im not sure if i have the correct wires. Anyways i looked up in the diagram, connector B2-03 pin 1G with wire colour L/Y should be my rpm input signal wire, and connector B2-23 2G with wire colour B/G should be my throttle input signal wire. My problem with the rpm signal is that should i be splicing into my wire after the igniter at the tach, or should i be splicing it before the igniter near the ecu? My problem with the throttle input signal is that im not sure which one to use. theres a narrow range throttle sensor and full range; I picked the full range one. Ive included pictures of the wiring diagram im using, so if anyone can confirm if i am correct, that would be super awesome! Thanks!!!

you can get RPM off the bullet connector at the trailing coil (yellow,something..green,blue red..sorry brain fart). No splicing req'd.

But are the wires i pointed out the correct ones? And is the wiring diagram from 91 the same as 89?

the Y/L wire on the second pic is the Tach (RPM) signal.

It is part of the 4 wire harness under the trailing coil... not the 2 wire one.

no, if you look at the trailing coil there is a check connector, B2-07 in the diagram, which is just a bullet connector, so all you do is plug into that.

for the TPS that (2G) is the signal wire.

Either way will work. I personally dont have the check connector thanks to the previous owner. The important thing is that you hit the correct wire.
