My friend bought a 1988 vert rx7 and didnt really drive it that much and now it wont start. He did the normal maintence stuff before he asked me for help.

Car will crank forever but not turn over and I really dont know a damn thing about a rotary engine, Ive only worked on my 67 stang.

So can anyone give me a idea where to begin with checking and where to end. Im going over there tommorow to check plugs/wires but where should I look to if those are good?

could be flooded, you can probably find a bunch on unflooding procedures if it is. Also I had a similar problem when my plugs were fouled really bad. Good luck!
