On my driver's side power window regulator assembly, the black plastic gear that pushes the row of beads up and down the window track is stripped out completely, and my window clicks instead of moving up or down. I have called 2 mazda dealerships and they won't sell me the gear without the entire $350 assembly.

Does anybody know where I can get this black plastic gear by itself, new or used in good condition?

 

go to a scrapyard... also there are online scrapyards that you could get one from.

If you go to one I bet you can get it for about 5 bucks. or probable 15 bucks for the whole assemble.
