Anyone have a picture or good description of where the O2 sensor wire (from the car's harness) is/comes from? Car is 1988 NA Fc Vert.

Colors aren't very helpful because everything in there looks Black.

It comes from near your exhaust manifold and ends up going underneath your UIM. It's a single wire. On the exhaust side, it attaches to a cyclindrical object (O2 sensor).

 

On the FSM wiring diagram, it is labelled as the knock sensor wire, and has the same plug. Its a squarish plug with a grey wire attached that runs up between the manifold and firewall, to disappear under the UIM

 

FSM 50-32. O2 Sensor: GY wire, round plug.

FSM 50-117. Knock Sensor: GY wire, round plug.
