Smile Need help Finding Fuel Injectors and Fuel pump

Hey everyone I am stuck on exatly what to look for when it comes buying New or Used fuel injectors? I have a 89' Turbo II, which the primary injector is leaking. Also I was planning to buy a Walboro 255 but want to know if it is universal or would I have to buy it specifically for one model?
Thanks for advise and help

any mods ? , its best just to send out your injectors to be cleaned and flow tested, and they will be basically neww, and why buy a larger fuel pump with no major mods ? u can put a fd fuel pump in and its a direct fit.

I'll 2nd the FD pump. It will give better flow under higher pressures, but not come with unwanted side effects.

Why would you send injectors to Mazdatrix? I haven't seen anything on their site talking about injectors servicing. The place I used is http://www.witchhunter.com/.

upgrading the fuel pump and injectors will just result in lower gas mileage and possibly fouled plugs. you would need a fueling computer to adjust if you do change the setup of the fuel system on a completely stock car.

^ An FD fuel pump and reconditioned 550cc injectors will do no such thing. A walbro will cause issues, but the FD pump doesn't flow a retarded amount at low fuel pressures. It is very well behaved and keeps fuel pressures right at stock specs.

I have a walbro in my car and I have no after market fuel regulator or anything and it seems to work fine (no fuel leaking, or anything strange) on a S5 TII J-spec swap.

If you check your fuel pressure, you'll find it has been increased dramatically at idle and under vacuum.

True story.
Had a walbro in my otherwise stock TII when I got it. It would always run rich, it flooded unless I reved up as I shut it down, and there was usually a nice little black cloud that shot out when I first started her up.

Switched to the FD pump (still have the whine-boro in a box somewhere...) and now I have none of those problemsw. 17 city, 24 highway.

The FD pump is good to 300hp, so at the end of the day if you are still running the stock turbo there is NO REASON for you to have a 255lph pump. PERIOD....unless you just like wasting $ and listening to fuel pumps whine.
