NEED HELP with a few problems

Lets see, when i start the car when cold, it always starts, once it warms up it looses its vacuum from 17mmhg to 10 mmhg on the vacuum part of the boost gauge, then the idle drops to 700 and the car shakes real bad and runs like **** under 1500rpm, then if i shut it off when its warm it wont start back up, if i crank it, the rpm's dont jump at it, it will just keep cranking and cranking unless i push start it or let it sit for at least 2 hours

Also, since the trans harness has been out it grinds 5th gear, so im wondering if anyone can tell me the correct color to color match for im guessing the 5th gear solenoid on the wiring harness

all on an 87 T2...with no airpump or cats if that makes a difference
thanks
mark

Large vacuum leak. Probably a cracked TID (turbo inlet duct).

The wiring harness will have nothing to do with your grinding. Refer to the factory manual at http://www.fc3s.org for wiring diagrams.
