need help car wont start

ok heres the thing . my car started good everytime and had no problems then 1 day my friend tryed putting a cd player in my car and after everything was connected the car wouldnt start .i thought it was maybe flooded .after that i tryed everything to unflood the engine even changed spark plugs but still nothing . the car cranks and everything but just doesnt start . its a 88 gxl by the way . any1 have any ideas ? can it be a electric problem ? need help thanks .

Might be flooded real bad. Do a search on UNFLOODING. BAsically they will tell you to pull two fuses, remove the plugs, crank it over to rid the chambers of fuel, throw in a squirt of atf or oil, reinstall clean plugs and the fuses and fire it up. Might have to repeat a few times. make sure your battery is charged well.

try unpluggin the cd-player, and putting in the stock one (if your friend had any experience he probably used a harness adapter). I'm not sure, but the security system on the rx-7's might be tied in with the head unit somehow.
If your friend just cut and crimped the wires, don't let him install any more of your stereos :P
