Need help car won't rev past 1.5k

This is annoying AF, Hasn't happened in like 8 months but jst started again maybe 2 weeks ago.

Not from personal experiance, but i looked it up. have you tried unhooking your TPS?

No I will though if it does it again, gonna have a friend unhook it while i have the gas floored

Unless my eyeballs are lying to me, your coolant temp gauge is reading a little on the warm side. That isn't your problem but just an observation.

Oh, and you are out of gas.

If I remember correctly s5's temp gauge reads slightly warm & I have gas lol

Yeah i have gas, I needa get a new unit but idc cause I just always assume I get 15mpg lol sometimes Iget more

It actually reads a few ticks marks cold. Not a quarter of the way up the gauge like an S4 but not over the 50% mark as yours reads.

I wouldnt worry about the accuracy of the gauge, mine has always read slightly past half but the temps have never moved up from there. If you want accurate temp measurement get a real temp gauge. Stock units are trash especially the s5 ones

Make sure your spark plug wires are in the right place if you just did anything down there...that's what it does when you mix them up lol (screwed it up before).

They aren't lol I still need to mess with te car, havent had anytime since I don't have a garage
