Question need help about a pulley issue

A while back I posted somewhere about a noise that seemed to be coming from my pullies. I believe I have determined that while my engine is running, the pulley that is shown in this picture makes somewhat of a scratching squeaking noise. Is it loose or has it gone bad? It sounds more like metal to metal and not like the sound of a loose belt. Is it perhaps a bearing problem? What kind of problem am I looking at here and how should I go about resolving it?

Thanks

There's no pully shown in your picture.

Old mechanics trick is to use a screwdriver to try and find noises. Hold the screwdriver against the part you suspect, and then put the handle up to your ear. It's really easy to find bad alternator/AC/airpump/waterpump bearings this way.

yes it looks like what you circled is the ac pulley. Its really hard to see that tiny pic but thats what you circled and its def possible that the bearing is bad. If thats the case and not the belt then you would have to drain the a/c system(by law you should have it done by auth techs to save the ozone) and then either get a new pump from the junk yark or have your rebuilt. The other option is just to remove the belt that hooks to that and get one for a car with no a/c. That will make the sound go away for now but you wont have any a/c use. BUT of course thats IF the a/c bearing is the problem.

It actually looks more on top, so that would make it the PS pulley.
