need help
just purchashed my first rx7 on friday, drove it home and it ran great. come sat morning i decided to go to the local pick a part and on the way there i noticed that while i was in neutral in between shift the car would over-rev and until i put it into gear the rpms would drop so i pulled over as soon as i could and shut the engine off. i then fired it up to see what was going on and as soon as it cranked over it immediately just revs like if it were at WOT without my foot even beign on the gas a few other starts trying to see what was goijng on and found white smoke coming out of the exhaust. anyone with any suggestions would be greatly eppreciated

well on the back of the throttlebdoy there are 2 cables on the throttle linkage somtimes one will come off the rail and get stuck at WOT, i would check that first.
other than that if you arent giving it gas then..... idk
