Hey everyone I'm new here I'm in Minot North Dakota right now but I'll be heading to Lansing Michigan in 2 months. I have an'86 GXL and on the odd occasion that it does run it idles eratically then when I shut it off it won't start again unless I let it sit for a few hours. Any thoughts or suggestions (or even sarcastic comments) would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the car floods easily. Search teh forums on the proper method for unfloodign teh car and also seek a thread for installing a fuel cut off switch to help in combating the flooding, also if it is floodign get the injectors cleaned/rebuilt.
