Unhappy need help!

im going to try to make this as straight forward as possible. I had a stereo system and an alarm installed in my 1987 rx7 turbo. the problem was with the other electronics(power meter, xm,turbo timer, etc) the installer told me i was pulling 95 amps and that a bigger alternator was required. First I bought a 2 farad capacitor. car was dying and not restarting without jump. That had no effect, so i bought a yellow cap battery still nothing. then i went with the 93 alternator. had lots of problems, blowing main fuse, melted down fuse holder, intercooler caught fire. I then went on this site and read how to properly install the alternator(so it wouldn't keep grounding out on intercooler). After this i start the car and capacitor was reading 11.8. About 30 secs elapsed before the belts started squealing and car shut off. after that car would turn over but not start so i thought fouled plugs. changed plugs, wires. Nothing just gas smell and white smoke below intake manifold. i even changed both coils. check for spark it was there and still no start. Now i cant seem to get it to charge right because even on a jump its reading 11.6 and 7.6 during crank. Im thinking ground somewhere maybe alarm as its tied into ignition? Dont know if theres a solid answer out there as you dont know the car but anything to would be greatly appreciated. also i drove the car with the back of the vacum hose for the intercooler for a shrot distance but dont know how that effects anything. Someone told me to take out egi fuse hold gas and crank? sorry about length wanted to be thorough.thanx

very hard to read, (try ending the paragraph sometimes) but it sounds like the alt is not installed properly and that your battery needs charging.
