Need fender rolling help

Okay, so I'm ordering a set of wider wheels that i need to roll my fenders for. Can anyone give me some steps for that? Is it necessary to bang that metal arch under the fender flush?

It depends on the wheels your getting and if you have coilovers it will make it easier. if you are using the diy way( with a bat and a hammer)
