Hey I'm goin to get some aluminum for engine and tranny mounts tomorrow im gonna just get them to cut it nice and square for me but i need the measurements for the mounts themselves and nothing else,

It should be 2.5" and 1 3/4" for the mounts but i would just like to be 100% sure. if someonehas some kickin around could you give them a quick measure

thanks!!!!

Engine mounts are 1.8" and trans mounts are 1.75 I believe, would have to confirm th trans mounts. Depending on the bandsaw blade they use, you might need to sand the ends. When I make them I do it with a milling machine. The smooth surface ensures an ideal contact surface, as well as ensuring both mounts are the same height.

I can tell this guy will never be happy with any answer you give him..

If you did a measurement then go with what you measured

I just went to out to the shop and checked. The height of the engine mount is 1.85". When making them solid I make them 0.050" under to compensate for compression of the stock rubber bushing. This doesn't count the cup thing that goes over it, which by eye is about 0.10" thick.

The trans mounts are 1.30" high not installed.

Thankfully this is one of those things that is also fairly forgiving. I's say you could safely be within 0.125" and never have to think about it again.

Good info.

Thanks for the two supplying real measurements.
