I'm looking for a Driver's side door handle, preferably red, but can take any color to be painted. Anyone have any hints on where I could get one, or have one laying around?

This is OP, I felt my original name was off setting as I don't own an FB anymore.

I don't need a $200 brand new door handle. I have been checking ebay, and there is only 1 driver's side door handle from what I've seen in the last day, and that appears to be our best bet. I checked both Pick-N-Pull and You-Pull-It here in SA, TX, and found 2 broken handles.

Last time I needed a small specific part for my old FB (an ignition switch) I got lucky and someone sold me one. I was wondering if I would get lucky and find someone who might have a door handle laying around.

I can't post in the Looking for Parts section, and wasn't even aware there was one until now.

 

Just took a look through the 2nd Gen parts for Sale forum and may have found a good handle. Thanks very much.
