Need clarification on FSM test procedure for AFM

I tested my AFM per the FSM instructions, and it technically checked out as ok, but I had a question.

Is there anything that should have a clean sweep of resistance? The only thing that really moves around when you move the vane is E2 -> VS, but isn't close to a clean sweep on mine. Is this correct? I need to know if my problem is with the AFM or something else.

Edit: Here is the thread with my problem in it: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/bogging-mid-high-rpms-im-stumped-741602/

When I looked at it again this morning I noticed there was something rattling around inside it, so I might just have to get a new on anyway.

I would still like to know about the testing for a new one, though.
