The magnaflow works, I used it for years to slap on and pass emissions. The flanges are solid an my only complaint is that the pipe diameter is slightly smaller than the factory pipe. This will not matter if you are just needing to get the car inspected but I wouldn't recommend it for daily use.
If you want to run a cat all the time, get the bonez unit, to just pass emissions go for the magnaflow. Styx is right, walker is ****.

Do you have the part number for the magnaflow by chance? I know autozonr had like 3 different ones, maybe just 1 with the correct airhose fit though dont remember right now off the top of my head.. also will just a single new one pass or do i need the full 2 or 3 stage to pass.. i know todays cats are better and more efiicient but just checking

When..just last week.(I used "imagination and a prayer" with this new cat to get it to pass)
The Walker flange and pipe are crap,as I said.
Why?.the pipe end is like a flare. The Flange has ovalled holes for the bolts.
Put the Cat on 'just a touch off" and the gasket doesn't sit on the Pipe and "ppshhhhhh"..Leak.
(I see Rockauto offers a Rebate. They should pay YOU to take the part out of the warehouse.)

Little trick from Uncle Styx.
That pipe is 1/2 inch steel.
The split air pipe has a check valve connected to the engine's vac Rack.(you will see the split air pipe go to a "bell shaped thingie",then connect to a big rubber tube at the back of the engine,Passenger side back of engine).
I needed a small piece to attach the cat to the stock split air tube,so I went and got about a foot of 1/2 inch steel tube(Hydraulic place) and some brass unions with compression fittings from the Plumbing aisle in a hardware store.
Hooked it up and DONE.
This beats trying to get someone out with a welder,or having it welded.
I paid about 20 bucks total.
