I'd hop on over to the single turbo section and look around a bit. I know those guys are turbo aficionados.

400-500?? thats a lot of power, sir. I would read up in the standalone forum, single turbo forum-- actually, I would read everything you can.

You might want to do swap first and then you can slowly move parts over to do the power mods. Hybrid turbo, new ecu, fuel mods etc.

Also you may want to rebuild the engine, as the JDMs seem to be hit and miss. Besides then you can do a big *** brideport.

check out c.a.p.a performance's kit for the s4/s5. this is what i'm planning on after the new microtech is installed, aswell as a v mount cooler.
turbo kit with t04z.1.06 or 1.15 a/r

Considering he's in Kansas, ordering from an Australian company may be a little unlrealistic...

If you want to make 400HP, then A-Spec sells a GT35R kit that will do the job nicely and provide good turbo response on stock ports:
http://www.a-spectuning.com/html/products/gt35r_t4.htm

Here's SpeedMachine's version:
http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...0kit%2035r.htm

If you want to make 500HP, then they also carry the GT40R in kit form:
http://www.a-spectuning.com/html/products/gt40r.htm

And from SpeedMachine:
http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...0kit%2040r.htm

To run the GT40R properly you'll need a ported engine. I'd recommend a bridgeport to keep lag under control.

Keep in mind that either of these turbos mean that you need a full fuel system upgrade (injectors, pump, standalone), intercooler upgrade, full exhaust and all the little miscellaneous bits (lines, fittings, TUNING, gauges, clutch, TIRES, etc.) that go along.

^this is what i did. i have a t04s/s4na. figured the na ports would do me better with the longer timing.

i read everything. infact, i spent almost a year on here every night for several hours before i even bought my car. and then i spent a few more months just studying the standalone stuff. it paid off. but was still a bitch at times.

actually i would start researching other peoples projects to see what all they did, that way you have an idea about what to search around for as far as info goes. check the singles area and other like places for these projects. this really helped me realize how far i was willing to go. there will probably need to be some custom fab stuff you will run into as well. i hadnt really allowed for this untill the time came. but thats more if you are on a budget, which i was. but doing everything my self, i have spent nearly 4.5k on driveline and engine, fabbing several things from aluminum as far as intercooler, oil cooler, rad, efan, etc... goes. i went with a vmount setup that took some planning and a lot of fitment. trial and error bud.
