Nearing limits of injectors?

- Streetport 13bt
- T04B V-trim hybrid
- cleaned and balanced 550cc primaries (560 actual flow)
- cleaned and balanced 680cc secondaries (700 actual flow)
- 12psi boost

Tuned to about 10.6:1 - 11:1 AFR's... Am I just about on the limits of my injector setup? I haven't dyno'd but on 205 series Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 tires, I can break them loose in first... Maybe near 300rwhp?

What are signs that will show I am nearing the limits of my injector's duty cycles?

Buy or borrow a DMM that can measure duty cycle and measure what the injectors are doing. That's the only way to know for sure. 80-85% is borderline but beyond that is bad.

In my experience there was no indication. One second I was at 11.1afr then next the car hit a brick wall, injectors were stuck wide open and car needed 120% duty cycle to sustain current afr. I should have been watching my duty cycle, but I've never heard of anyone maxxing out my fuel setup with my turbo. Anyhow, just play it safe and get more than enough.

So I would have to have the DMM hooked up while car is under full load? Thanks, I'll see if anyone has a DMM that will measure duty cycle lying around.

As for 1Revvin7... perhaps he meant that since his injectors were stuck open, he was pushing higher fuel pressures?

I had 712s on my car when it was nearly stock, and I could roast them for a block.. That's not a thing you should be concerned with as far as an indication if your injectors are about to be maxed out.. You should see what the injector duty cycle is, what are using to tune your car with?

Car is controlled by Microtech Lt8 and tuned using Techedge WB for reference of AFR.
