Name these crazy 2nd gen parts

Hey 2nd gen people....

I figure you guys (& girls) would know best what these crazy lookin things are that I have been stripping from my FC.

What are the names of these parts?

1.

2.

3.

I'll be posting more as I strip them off. Some things, I basically know what they are....but am wondering if they have a weird name since they are Rx7 parts.

Sorry, its the Bypass air control I think. It helps your car idle when extra load is placed on the engine, ie a/c, power steering, electrical load...

I was able to pick this FC up pretty cheap. Ever since January when I bought my FB, I have been intrigued..almost to the point of insanity about rotaries.

This FC ran fine...but, since I already have 1, I figured I'd take this one apart, and learn more about them as I go.

While we're waiting for me to post more parts....what are the basic functions or purposes of the items not yet explained?

1. Control idle better when there is more load on the engine (electrical).

2. Incorperates the BAC into the intake system as well as other vacuum powered sensors, Air Temp Sensor.. etc..

3. Integral to determining spark

4. Just intake runners essentially

5. Part of the cooling system - Has cooling temp sensor and thermostat mount.

6. Directs air flow from the air pump back into the intake manifold or dump to the exhaust.

7. Just an AC mount and tensioner pulley

8. Makes the car 'go' when you press the 'gas'.

Actually, I set that throttle body on the roof of the FC after I pulled the motor. And, it wouldn't start.

Why are you trying to start a car with no throttle body? That's a really bad idea no matter how you slice it.

Well forget that it has no throttle body, why try to start it with the crank angle sensor and intake manifold removed
