i was wondering what was exactly needed to convert an 88GXl i belive to a S5 turbo. would it be easier to just go S4 turbo and do you have to get a harness or can u keep the one that comes with it, and i take it the TII ECU is needed and what about the rear (axles,LSD,ect) ive done the search but didnt really come up with any spacific answers. thanks guys

i was just reading and basicly to go from S4 to S5 isnt worth all the work, because when i take my motor out and put a new one in i was thinking just to use mine but from what i read you should stick to the same series?

You must not have searched very hard. Anyway, it's a hell of a lot easier to stay within the series, then you don't have to change nearly as much. Just drop in the engine/tranny/driveshaft/halfshafts/rear-end/starter, swap to the tII engine harness & ecu & afm & fuel pump & pressure sensor and you're all set.
