NA-T fuel pump rewire :D
haha ok ok ok this is something different dont flame.
Ok so I got an NA CAR With a turbo fuel pump and ecu. ( and just to confuse you more, turbo wiring harness and turbo ..... turbo...) I do not have this on my NA car:
unless it is somewhere else on the car.
BUT I do have a turbo parts car here that does have it. I was thinking .. hmm maybe I will just put it in... but now I don't what and where the wires are that I need connect the things to. On the 1300cc.com writeup it didn't really explain where the NA stuff was, just said that it would be easier.
I put a ohm meter on my fuel pump power lines and it was bouncing between 8.7 and 10.3V every second. (?)
Let me know what you think. Maybe it doesn't need to be done on the NA wiring? Maybe NA's don't mess w/ the volts?
Thanks.

come to think of it, I wonder if the up and down of my fuel gauge could cause these bumps towards the end of my dyno numbers..... but then again ... I dont think they would be exactly the same, on both dynos...

REUPDATE: nevermind I guess NA's just have full power going to the pump all the time. anyways im off to taco bell im starving!

The NA doesn't have the fuel pump resistor and relay like the TII does, so it runs the fuel pump at full voltage all the time. The only reason you would need to rewire the pump in the NA is if the original wiring is broken or corroded. In that case simply running a new wire from the stock fuel pump relay will do the job.
