NA rebuilt Turbo???

so i have an S4 NA that needs a new engine... well i was thinking of getting it rebuilt but i want turbo. i know you can swap turbo 2 engines but that seems like a hassle. i was wondering if it was possible to rebuild my NA into a Turbo 2 engine. of course id have to buy the turbo, intercooler, etc... but is that possible or does it even matter? can i just take the turbo 2 turbo parts or do i need the whole turbo 2 engine? my only concern with turbo 2 swapping is i dont know how easy they are to find and for a decent price.. plus even then it might need a rebuild. so thats why im wondering if i can rebuild my NA into a Turbo 2 without having to just buy a whole new turbo engine.

Read the faqs - the info is there. And yes you can, but there is a whole lot of custom fabircation involved in turboing an na engine. It is FAR easier and cheaper to just swap in the whole turbo engine.

Yeah, but they can still be used. You just have to get coolant from somewhere besides the housing. The problem is that you need a spacer for the turbo to clear the NA intake, plus you have to custom fab several intake and exhaust components to get everything to work.
