NA engine rebuilds..

I have an 88 that the engine is about toast I think? It spews white smoke heavily from the exahaust especially on acceleration. Is it expensive to hav them rebuilt?

Rebuild costs range from about $800 at the low end (if you do it yourself) to as high as you want to pay...If a shop is doing the work, figure $2000 average if no replacement hard parts (ie. rotor housings) are needed.

A search for "rebuild cost" will probably provide a lot of info as well.

that depends if you need additional internal parts, that price is a starting point not an ending point.
