NA ECU vs TII ECU for TII swap Q!

Ok, I'm getting tired of this.

I did a TII swap and used a TII ECU with TII harness but some people are arguing with me that you dont NEED a TII ECU. Is there really no difference? What are the pros and cons?

I would imagine that you are limited with the NA ecu, aside from having to unplug the pressure sensor?

Clear it up for me once and for all please.

Thank you.

T2 ecu is necessary. Do not listen to the idiots that tell you to use the na. Harness on the other hand is much easier to use the na. Na does not sense boost, only vacuum. I used na harness with t2 motor and ecu.

Your need the turbo ECU plus Turbo pressure sensor plug Turbo AFM.

The n/a pressure sensor only reads one atmosphere. The Turbo two atmosphere. The Turbo ECU trims timing when in boost, the n/a ECU does not and can't read boost anyway.

Used a Turbo EM harness on a n/a car. Connected the Turbo EM harness to the Front harness with the two orange plugs? You did take care of business and altered the wiring in those two orange plugs to match the n/a front harness, didn't you? If not then your feeding a high boost signal to the ECU from the pressure sensor making the ECU think your in boost all the time.

In that case, go ahead and throw the NA ECU in, then you will have a reason to post this bullshit.

Not only is my car a six port turbo running on a n/a ecu, but it is also half bridged. Have not have any problems with it yet.

I have been running bridge ported about 2 years now, and just turbo'd it a few months ago. Timing was fully advanced because of the bridgeport, and it still is.

Was pulling like a bat out of hell, but my clutch couldn't handle it.

sure, its not the best thing out there, but for most FC drivers, it probly wont hurn anything.

*I dont want t run a n/a ecu, but that just the card I was dealt. and my megasquirt is kicking my ***.
