NA AFM on T2 ECU - no fuel?

I was wondering, if possibly, it was the fact that I have an NA AFM on a stock s4 t2 ecu, that could be causing the fuel pump not turn on? I just wanted to get the car started and I can't find my t2 AFM.

Thanks
