N318 ECU - High or Low impedance injectors?

I can't figure it out, with all the different model ECU's, can someone tell me which injectors the N318 ECU runs? I'm a bit stuck.

I've got some information, but not the right stuff:

Series 4
N326 - Natural Aspiration w/low impedance
N327 - Natural Aspiration w/ high impedance
N332 - Turbo w/ low impedance injectors (pre-July 1987)
N333 - Turbo w/ high impedance injectors

N304 - 84-85 GSL-SE
N326 - 86-87 NA
N332 - 87 Turbo
N327 - 88 NA
N333 - 88 Turbo
N338 - 88 Convertible
N350 - 89 NA California
N351 - 89 NA Fed.
N352 - 89 Conv. CA
N353 - 89 Conv. Fed.
N370 - 89 Turbo

This is the info I want, I need to know weather the following J- spec ECU's are low or high impedance!

J - SPEC

N318
N319
N340
N374

all stock ecu's were high imp.. the low imp years had external 6 ohm resistor packs, if that is what you are looking for?

external resistor pack!

If all stock ECU's run high impedance injectors, why do some models come with an external resistor park, aren't these to increase the impedance on low impedance injectors?

all ECU's expect the same amperage. In the early models (regardless of the ECU #) this is accomplished by low impedence injectors + stock resistor pack. In the later models (most 88's through 91) they eliminated the resistor pack and just came with high impedence injectors.

It is the HARNESS that determines what injectors/resistors may be necessary, not the ECU.

So to directly respond to your question: does your harness have a stock resistor pack? If it does, use low impedence injectors. If it does not have a stock resistor pack, you may use either high impedence injectors or low impedence injectors, provided that you wire in resistors for the low impedence ones. s4 high impedence injectors have a different connector than s5 high impedence injectors, but you could use either if you wire in the right connector.

Ok, so the next part, what size resistor do I use and I take I just run the resistor in series on which ever injector(s)?
