N2O 4 my 13BT 87' FC3S in 2002...
Hows that thread title for ya!?
So tonight I am acquiring a NX wet kit to install in my T2. My relevant mods are as follows
Intake and tid mod
3" turbo back
ported TB
starion fmic
elec fan
stock ser 4 turbo with well ported wg
home dpot boost controller
walbro rewired pump
safc
800 secondaries
fcd
egt,boost,and af guages
to run a 50 shot I plan on button activating it for 3rd and 4th gears, and checking the following
12 volts at fuel pump
octane at 94 or better
richer than normal fuel maps on safc
turn boost down to around 9 lbs(before spraying)
Did I miss anything? input?

With a wet system, you should have plenty of fuel to compensate the N20. Is it a jet system, or computer controlled one? I am only familiar with the NOS brand systems. With the correct jets in the NOS brand system, I didn't have to change a thing with the rest of the car.

It's going to be bad ***!! I have my old dry system hooked up as a I\C sprayer! We all know how bad the stock top mount sucks! I have all the parts to convert to a wet system.......but my TII has 143k on the clock and dyno'd @ 187 WRHP @ 5 psi!! I would still like to drive it before winter! N2O next summer after rebuild

Be careful with the boost. I did quite a bit of research on spraying turbocharged engines when I had my DSM. Turn the boost WAY down at first bit keep the fuel tuned in, a DSM with a 16g with a ported enlarged wastegate can see a boost increase of almost 10psi INSTANTLY when you hit the blow. This is a 34mm flapper wich i think is bigger than the S4 wastegate can get. On an external and 20g I was still looking at backing off the boost atleast 5psi to keep it safe for the big spike when it was on the bottle. The stock WG is very small and inadequate, just becarful and watch the boost.

hehe no but I saw it on a Drag only T66 powered honda!
I saw a honda drag car on some monster slicks hit the spray in 2nd gear and you shoulda heard that friggin turbo spool up then start smoking the slicks for all of 2nd gear! He ran a 10.5 at some ridiculous mph and me and my bro both were wiggin when we saw it! Maybe I will leave the .96 A/R on my 60-1 and run the juice to spool....hmmm.....
