tps setup is very simple, are you looking for speed? the s4 can be converted to turbo very easslly if you like turbos its a simple drop in, but you should have both they are cheap to get, and have both worlds at your fingertips. ive had both the s4 was more fun in the corners ...it was very easy to tune and get parts then i converted to a drop in rebuilt jspec turbo

I have a liking for both. I personally drive a 85 S that is the base model but with some help from Robert, it has a little more hp than stock. That said, I drive it everyday and put about 30-40k miles a year on it. I love the classic styling and the looks I get from it. The downfalls, smaller and less tame.

The S5 which my buddy let me drive was so much fun. It felt like a grown up, and stable 1st gen. Power is much smoother with F.I. and the independent suspension was amazing. The styling is somewhat boring (ford prode(like)) and they are usually more likely to be seen driving.

I love having somewhat of a classic car and the oldschool styling 2seater and the raw feeling you get when driving a carbed car with a live axle and that long sexy hood

Ok thats enough...i have more but it'll get boring...

I can't stand FC's. Nearly bought one, but test drove my GSL-SE (luckly) before I bought it. It was an 86, too. My GSL-SE was superior in every way. Felt better, kicked harder, it was just...right for me.

if you have to tune your fc theres alot of threads on this forum on testing your tps ,verrrrrry simple .the fb i had was simple also but it tended to rot more easilly thats why i sold it for $200. the rust spreaded like a cancer i loved the car but it was to unsafe for me to drive the fc na is bullet proof almost reliable ....if your into racing, the cars built today are alot faster. thats why i ended up converted to turbo ...biggggg differance .but if you want an na go for it! down the road you want more power drop a rebuilt j-spec

and, sorry for the S4 vs S5 blurb.
my LSD mention was in reference to you s4 vs. s5 blurb, actually. haha

My preference is the GSLSE although I think an S5 convertible is damn sexy!
