I'm curious to what numbers the N/A guys are putting out, and how much they spend to get there. Also, how, if it did, change your powerband, good or bad.

Thanx

Will

Ya. Me too.

RB dual pipe "street port" system. A friend with the identical car to mine Dynod the same day as me. Him: stock. Me: RB system, and a K&N drop in filter. Him: 101 rwhp, 103 ft.lbs. of torque. Me: 121 rwhp and 122 ft. lbs. of torque.

I'm going turbo this winter. More bang for the buck. Hopefully it's not the engine that will do the "bang" part...

Take care,

NOTA: that 121 rwhp is from a 1st gen right? They only made 101rwhp stock..hmmm. Do you know the weight of the 1st gens cuz I thought they had more HP than that. Thanks.

more hp... lol... Not at the wheels. Most 2nd gens will not make 120 rwhp. The 86-88 will put out approximately 110-115 rwhp stock while the 89+ is good for about 125 rwhp, stock. Thats what driveline losses get you. For more information on actual dyno pulls check out www.trackracers.org/matt/dyno.html

Probably about 170-175HP at the flywheel. I have a 90GTU with Bonez Racepipe, K&N Cone filter. I've also done a lot of weight mods and removed emissions crap. Removed P/S, Air Control Valve, Removed Sixports and wired them open(I need to remove the sleeves yet) Removed VDI and wired it open, removed airpump, AC Compressor(and rest of AC components). I also have custom headers that I haven't put on my car yet, that should put me up around 190HP at flywheel. I've also done lots of brake and suspension mods, but I won't get it into that since this is a HP thread.

We are talking at the rear wheels here. Stock GSL-SE (13B 6PI like yours) flywheel horsepower was 135. The car weighs in at 2506 lbs. with the mods it has now.

It's all available for your perusal here http://home.mn.rr.com/linnihan/statistics.htm .

Take care,
