N/A modification questions

I've spent the last hour flipping through the archive and had some questions. First I saw something about a N/A engine possibly running lean with intake and full exhuast and cutting out at 6k rpm. I'm running the same setup and having the same issue. So would running a TII or a walboro fuel pump and FPR (I have an S5 and read that the stock injectors will be fine) help? I haven't used a Air fuel gauge but the issue came up ever since I upgraded the intake/exhuast. So would upgrading intake and exhuast cause it to run lean?

Next question. From those who have installed pineapple sleeves. Are they worth it? They aren't that expensive but the hassle of installing them isn't worth it to me for a difference I won't notice.

Also I want to install a new ring and pinion. I have a 3.90 (used to be automatic) but I want to install a TII rear end (already have a TII trans and driveline installed) with something higher than 4.30 but I can't find anywhere that would carry it. And where can I find a good price?

And finally as far as the throttle body mod goes whats the results from those who have done it on a S5?

one of the things with an s4 is that the 5th and 6th ports wont open with enough back pressure but you can wire those open... my friend actually recently removed everything after the ehaust manifold and he said he still feels it open up... loud and hell but its a rotary... atleast thats what he says. the exhaust manifold from what I've read is the most restrictive part of the system ... some argue more than the cats...

From what I've seen, theres no purpose to doing the TB mod on an N/A.

Wiring open the aux ports is about the worst thing you can do and will likely make the car slower due to the massive loss of low end torque.
