N/A Fuel injectors
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I couldn't find anything in a search. I have an 86 rx7 with about 70.000 miles. I am pretty sure one of the injectors are leaking because I can smell gas comming out of the intake right after I turn off the car.
I have low-impedence 460cc inectors? right?
ALso the afm is way small, a stand alone (mega squirt) is the best way to open up the intake or is a MAF swap from another year better?
Thanks

Start your car and let it warm up. Turn off your car and wait 15 minutes before starting it up again. If it's flooded and you can't start it, than your injectors leak. Also, check to see if you are spewing black/dark blue exhaust. That could also mean faulty injectors.

I had a shop clean the fuel system today, claiming it cleans the inectors. Seems to have worked, no more smell from the intake, I will have to see how long it lasts.

Yep, there seems to be some small amounts of gas under the uim on a platic half-domed shaped thing. Time to search the archives and find the best fix.
Hope is stays warm here in MN, my two back up options to get to work are a motorcycle or an air-cooled VW bus with no heat... That is what I get for thinking about selling my car..
