N/A Exhaust

Since the motors are extremely similar, are the downpipes from an n/a and Turbo ii interchangeable?

Sorry for the newb question, but I was about to order my motor when my exhaust went ka-put. Now I'm just trying to get my n/a running again and save up for my motor again, without wasting money on an exhaust that won't fit the new motor when I get it in.

Nope, the downpipe comes off the turbo to the cat. You want headers. Some will bolt up to the stock main cat, like the Corksport, others need a matching high-flow cat or a corresponding presilencer, like the Racing Beat.

Thanks. I should have known it wouldn't, but I was hoping that some guru could tell me of a way around it. Guess I'm up a creek until I get my motor. Thanks again.
