n/a block -TII ....pros-cons???

before anything, im wanting to know if turning an n/a into a TII has any benefeits or draw backs. I know there alot of write ups on how to, but they all also say you have to block stuff off .Im just wondering if that would hurt performance at all . would it be just smarter to get a TII swap ,i already have a parts car with a complete n/a so should i go for the conversion or the swap??

thanks in advance yall

Due the full swap, it will easier and better. You will thank yourself later.

This is coming up a lot recently. Run a search for forum member aaroncake and read about his project "tina". If you have a good compression, strong na engine, this swap actually makes a lot of sense. Japan2la lim to t2 uim, na wiring harness, t2 ecu. Prob a lot easier than the full swap. Higher comp rotors= higher horsepower at factory psi. Read about it a lot before you do anything.

Have you checked the FAQ?

Can I swap a Turbo engine/Jspec engine/13BT/etc into my Non Turbo?
Yes, check these links:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=26647
http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/ro...conversion.htm

What Turbo kits can I add onto my non turbo RX-7?
There are no longer kits formally made at the time of this post, however there are companies from time to time that do make available non turbo to Turbo Kits. Because most of these companies stop building the kits, or go out of business in short time, it is impossible to keep active links for them.

Most people that turbo a non turbo make their own kits:
Using the stock TII turbo, exhaust manifold with spacer, NA intakes and NA ECU:

Based on what you said, you should stick with a straightforward TII swap. It's a bolt-in affair that can be done in a weekend.
