Mystery part

Good day all! I have another mystery that I need solved if anyone could help. Finished up the install of a clutch on a 1989 RX7 non turbo and this part was sitting on my workbench. Hoping someone could help and let me know where it goes. Thanks in advance!

Looks like a lift bracket, but don't have my second gen anymore.
