Thumbs up mystery bolt

so i was doing the typical rx7 owner thing and replacing my pulsation dampener. bought the bolt for 10$ including over night shipping.
me and my bf worked on it. cleaning everying. replacing omp lines. replacing vac lines and all that fun stuff.
well

we got down to putting on the metal tubing that goes from one side of the lower intake manifold to the other. for the actuators to open.
it was a bitch to get the one closest to the fire wall on . then when it came to the other.
SNAP
the head poped off the screw
now
I was screwing this one in and I DEFINANTLY didnt try to hard to do this
its a hollow bolt (like the banjo bolt and fule rail bolts) its about 8 mm

and i need to go to mazda . .. . or at least know the threading for advanced auto to try to see if they have one

i did look for a pic of what i am talking about but i cant find a LIM to post up

There's two of those banjo bolts for the air feed to the actuators. There found in the parts fische under Emissions Control W/O Turbo in the Engine section. Page I-G5 (1380B-1). The banjo bolt part number is 9938-00-400 and the washer on each side of it is 9956-20-800. That's according to the Parts Fische I downloaded to my computer a couple of years ago.

87rxgirl,
For future use find yourself a set of thread pitch guages. They look like a feeler guage set but have different thread pitches cut into them. Its a simple 5.00 tool that will allow you to tell and bolts thread pitch. Even if you broke a bolt off you could remove another like it to identify it. Most good tap and die sets include this guage. I consider it a must have item for anyone owning a foreign car of any kind. Just a tip.
