ok to most this may seem stupid, but i found these pictures while skimming through the forum, and i wanted to know more information on the car, google isnt helping and i tried searching.

so....does the car still exist? what kind of kit is on it? what else can you tell me about it? and finnaly does anyone have any more pics of it?

The windshield sticker is clue #1. RE Amemiya had his hand in it. It's got the Porsche style conversion, which I don't even think was produced for sale like the FD kits in Japan.

 

i googled them up to and i still got nothing, seriously i still cant find any more pics, i found a green vert that was sort of similar, but it wasnt this one

That is the company responsible for the kit. It is either a one-off kit, or not in production anymore. I don't know if anyone makes a replica either.

 

Also Greddy and RE Amemiya are good buddies. The current Greddy Rx-7 in the D1GP is built by Amemiya's shop.

Why do you care?

1) The car is a one-off custom.

2) The car does not exist anymore.

This is why you're not going to find any info on it, period.

That car was an abomination of an FC. I've always disliked the Porsche 928 headlight conversion. Ugly as sin IMO...

 

personally i agree about the headlights, i always like the pop-up lights, i just like it because of the wide body kit, thats why i wanted to know about the car, for the kit

 

I know that car ran a custom Greddy manifold for Twin TD0-18Gs

 

There was a series of those cars commissioned by Greddy/Amemiya. It spanned from the inception of the FC, all the way up to the FD.There were 6 or 7 of them I believe. I wish I could find the site that listed them all.

 

he probably want info on the twin turbo setup ....
Greddy had a twin turbo setup for the FC for sale .... in the start of the 90's.
id love to have my FC with twin sequential.

i m just not a big fan of the headlights, bodykit / doors aint that bad

 

Almost as bad as droppin a rod knocker in any car that carries RX in its name.

 

i hate the lights too, but do they still sell that kit, or have they ever sold that kit?

i want to put it on one of my other FC's.

 

I want to do that to my taillights more than anything else on those cars!
