My turbo motor will not die!!!

I mean come on now. its been 18 months. I bought the car with 142k miles on the original motor. I am up to 155k miles now. This engine is almost getting annoying.

When I bought the car the engine ran like crap. Idle was very lumpy and turbo was shot. Numerous fixes including tune ups and vacum leaks solved the initial problems. Swapping turbo and beating the crap out of the motor made it fast.

I did a comp test about 3 months ago and it pumped 75psi on a standard guage 3 even pulses per rotor. With the valve back in the guage, front peaked at 100 while rear peaked at 95.

Heres the basic bolt on list;

3 inch intake with huge k&n
rb turbo back exhaust
greddy front mount
upgraded turbo

Descriptive bolt on list;
Walbro fuel pump rewired
paralell fuel rail modification
Aeromotive rising rate fpr set at 38 psi
hks ssq bov
680cc pri, 850cc sec injectors
Microtech LT8X ems (tuned to 14 psi at 75% duty cycle)
Upgraded turbo consists of s5 hot side ported wastegate and larger (to4b??) compressor.

other upgrades include;
paint job
suspension upgrades
brake caliper rebuilds
2 sets of tires (Falken Azenas and Kumho Victoracers)
car cover

for more than a year now that car has had no less than 200 horse at the wheels. Recent upgrades (EMS, fmic, injectors, intake) has upped the anti to the 270-300 rwhp mark. Its freaking hot you know.. 10 psi now. was hitting 14 couple months ago.

The car has been running in this mode for about 6 months, only the last 2 months it has been tuned properly (Probably beating motor up before I replaced secondaries to 850cc).

Anyways this motor is still together and doesnt seem to be on its way out.

I am ready for the inevitable however.

Reason for me posting this is because Im tired of seeing people with blown motors.

I know there are many others in my situation, so have a little faith in your motors.

*What do you think my excelent condition car is worth right now??

Take of your IC, that's how my motor blew, only took one WOT full boost to blow the rear rotor out of commission, well actually I did it more than once, probably about 3 dozen, but whos counting.

Well, the reason why you see people blowing their motors is because they go way past the safe zone on their turbo and fuel.
I see you have done a lot of mods and is the reason why your motor is as it is. People brag about how they pull 13-15 psi on their all stock motor. I just wonder how long THAT will last.

3800???? Hmm that sounds a little high for my car with my motor. How about 3500?? HAHA just kidding not for sale.

I'm pretty cautious with this car. I mean I listen for things like pinging and stuff. My opinion is that any boost below 2500 is really pushing the motor hard IE large explosions with not much movement. I feel more comfortable flooring the car after 3500 except when dyno tuning.

Dont get me wrong. I've done my fair share of 0-120+ mph pulls and can chirp the first 3 gears pretty easily. Seems as though everything has broke except the parts inside the motor.

I had 138k on mine and I thought that was pretty good for original motor. I knew the day was coming though... Good luck with your motor!
