Talking My TII is finally running

I finally got my TII back from the shop and everything is running well (knock on wood). Now if I can manage to get thru the break in period for the new engine and clutch. Just had to share the news with people who would understand my excitement.

Mike

I know exactly how that is. Its such a good feeling having a new engine and stuff, but break-in sucks. Mine didnt take long though, 9 days at 110+ miles a day, most below 50 mph, and all below 65 mph. That first day you get to open it up is the best. Makes the break-in all worth the wait.

Good luck

I have a few mods on it now and many more planned. The Current upgrades are:
ACT Cutch (heavy duty pressure plate and modified street disk)
T04 Turbine housing
Racing Beat exhaust
bigger secondary injectors
HKS air intake
silicone vacuum lines

I am trying to decide on a new boost gauge right now. I think I might go with the SPI.

Hey Obzcure,

Cool, resist the temptation to put your foot in it until the break-in is complete. Did you have to use an outboard fuel management device with the bigger secondaries?

I haven't added any fuel management system yet but I am looking into it. Trying to decide what to use. I am looking at the S-AFC or thinking about holding out and going with the Haltec when I gather up the $.
