So recently my Tach cable stopped working one night.. I dunno if its happening cause its cold or not.. But i need it to be fixed.

How is it connected?? Through the speedometer cable?

The speedometer is unrelated. The signal comes from the coils. The first thing I would check is the connection at the ECU. If the plug from the cluster is loose, you can lose your tach signal. Other than that, look for continuity across the circuit board on the back of the instrument cluster. The FSM wiring diagrams will help you figure out which wires run to the tach.

The tach is not mechanically driven, so there is no "tach cable".
The tach gets it's signal from the trailing coils.
Either the trailing coil pack is going bad, or you've got a loose electrical connection or ground there.

I've a car that the tach won't work just after starting. I just rap the instrument cluster plastic cover and it works again. Proably a bad connection on the round connectors at the back of the cluster and a lot of laziness. Not a perfectionist here.
