my projector hids

forgive the horrible paint its going to be painted black ...but any way i got the projectos from ebay and installed hids it took 45mins for install what a beutiful thing ...im not an ebay fan but these are perfect

so bought the headlight went from sealed to interchangable then bought "real" hid kit with ballasts installed all corectly and they work..i hop this is true.. cant stand when people buy hid look likes and think they really heve em.

they are 6000ks $49 on ebay they are bright and beutiful with a blue tint ill take pics at night with them they have a ton

6000k refers to the color, not the light output.

If you got just a plug-in bulb then what you have are not HIDs.

The cheapest HIDs I've seen (Chinese made brand X stuff) were like $150 on ebay. You'd have a ballast, a bulb, and a bit of wiring to do if they were HIDs.

ebay hid ftl and those projector housings put out werid beam of light if i remember from other threads. i think if u bought hella housings it would have better lighting than ebay ones

I thought I was going to see a real HID retrofit Those ebay "projector" headlights look like theyd put out some weird light patterns. I've been in cars with ebay projector headlights and the light output is worse than stock. I hope the HID lights make up for this. Can you post a picture of the lights turned on close to a wall? That will give us a better idea of what the light pattern is.
