Wink My oil presure is to low i think.

I have a 89 N/a Rx-7. When my car run at idle oil presure guage shows 28 psi. 3000 rpm it is between 30 and 60 psi, so i guess its 45 psi at 3000 rpm. Do u guys think its to low, if it is what should i do?

Mines around 90 at 3-5, never ever gets over that line (I guess it stays around 7/8ths on the guage)

At idle its kinda low around, the 20 mark...

All the above pressures sound crummy, but then again the gauge and sending unit in the car are crummy. The only way you'll find peace of mind is to connect a mechanical oil pressure gauge to the car You can get some cheap but effective ones at the auto store, such as SunPro for under 20 bucks. Bye.
